2012 was a year for change. The 'Shift' was an opportunity for you to assess yourself, your life and the world around you and decide what changes you wanted to make. Change always starts with you. Spirit, have often told humanity that it will only take one person to change the world. This is because as you transform yourself the world around you changes in response that in turn creates a ripple effect.
The year was full of highs and lows, of great extreme as a reflection of the extreme way humanity is living today. The year's lesson to all was BALANCE. Firstly, noticing whether you were in or out of balance, then deciding to do something about it. Balance is more than just being in your heart. It is more than being centred. It is about those things and acceptance, grace and true inner peace.
As your timeline moves into 2013, breath with your whole being - the seen body and the unseen energy emanates from your Soul. Breathe deeply and slowly, allowing yourself to feel the breath flowing through you; allow this breath to still your mind, calm your heart and create a space where you can find clarity.
In that moment of peace simply be. Be in that moment and enjoy it. You do not always need to constantly seek answers; when you allow silence into your life, answers come easier as there is space for them to be created.
Lastly, do not rush into the new year, wanting to put this one behind you. That will create a negative attachment to 2012 and too much expectation for 2013. Give thanks for the year as it ends and be open to the new one as it starts.
Resolutions are often a symptom of expectations and pressure to achieve that only undermines you. Let the year start as it needs and let your Soul guide you through it.
